I've been online for around 10 years. I've moderated chat rooms ( ivillage), I've been involved in various websites and you know  what...... you wont' find me 'chatting' anymore.

I find I am too mature, and have no time for gossip, false online friendships, lies...emails being fowarded to other people that I send as personal , and all the dang drama.

I mean, I'm 42, time to grow up right ? So please, don't try and involve me in any of it. I have a life to live.

I love to garden, it is my passion in life !! I am not a happy person if I cannot dig in the dirt. During the winter I winter sow so that I'll have early plants for the garden, and every day of the warmest weather you'll find me in the soil of the earth. I usually come out looking like a kid playing in the mud. The neighborhood children will often say to me "Miss Cheryl, are you playing in the dirt again ?". I love it !

I am also a single mom of two wonderful, smart teenagers who are passionate about animal rescue. I homeschool , and I run a business from home.

I love to read...it lets me "escape" into another world for a bit of time. Sometimes....I need to do this, my garden offers me much the same.

I love flowers for my garden. I collect Sedums, but I have around 115 varieties, so I'll admit I'm hard to buy for. Here is a link to the list of plants I have, just in case you want to get me something for my garden.
